Making a Better Missouri - Together

Our Call to Action

Our state stands at a crossroads, facing significant threats to women's rights, democratic principles, and the stability of our nation. But what can we do?

In the words of Robert La Follette:

"Mere passive citizenship is not enough. Men must be aggressive for what is right if government is to be saved from those who are aggressive for what is wrong."

Though these words were spoken a hundred years ago, they have taken on a whole new sense of urgency. They are a call to action — a reminder that our democracy cannot — and will not — survive unless citizens are involved.

Surrendering in silence will be the ultimate death of our freedom.

My campaign to represent your views in the 97th District of the Missouri State House is more than a bid for office; it's a movement towards a more fair and equitable Missouri, driven by the belief that together, we can overcome the challenges posed by the current legislature that seeks to undermine our rights and silence our voices.

I won't promise you that I alone can fix it; on the contrary, democracy is a difficult journey that involves each one of us. Your active participation, your voice, and your vote are essential as we strive to protect our rights, our health, and our prosperity.

As Robert La Follette said, "Passive citizenship is not enough."

Please join me. Together, we can be aggressive for what is right and steer Missouri toward a future filled with hope, compassion, and unwavering democratic values.

BTW: Who was Robert La Follette? I encourage you to look him up. Yes, he was a Republican and perhaps the greatest politician of his time. To this day — a hundred years hence — we enjoy the privileges he fought so hard to achieve. I hope he inspires you as much as he inspires me!
